2009 Miss America Katie Stam weds longtime boyfriend Brian Irk

Vegas DeLuxe congratulates 2009 Miss America Katie Stam on her marriage to the love of her life Brian Irk. The couple wed in their home state of Indiana on Friday, and the current issue of Bridal Guide details Stam’s magical day.

VDLX broke the news of their engagement, as Mr. Vegas DeLuxe Robin Leach was part of the surprise proposal, during a 2010 Miss America Pageant event at Planet Hollywood on Jan 29. VDLX posted a story and photo gallery shortly after the Saturday evening surprise for Stam.

The 2011 Miss America Pageant returns to Planet Hollywood for the sixth consecutive year on Jan. 15, when 2010 Miss America Caressa Cameron of Virginia hands over the crown and title to another young woman. Next year is the 90th anniversary of Miss America, which also is returning to primetime on ABC.
