Photos: DWTS and The Hills stars love Tao and Lavo

The stars were shining brightly at Tao in The Venetian and Lavo in the Palazzo, and the weekend high-kicked off with Dancing With the Stars two-time professional champions Mark Ballas and Cheryl Burke both celebrating birthdays with co-stars Shannon Elizabeth, Stacy Keibler, husband and wife Alec Mazo and Edyta Sliwinska and Mark’s girlfriend, original Pussycat Dolls member Ashley Roberts.

Edyta, Alec and Shannon were seen dancing in the skyboxes and partaking in a cake the shape of the DWTS disco ball trophy. Stacy joined them on their second consecutive night there, and Paris Hilton enjoyed the sounds of DJ Erick Morillo. Tao owner Jason Strauss reported a record 7,700 revelers through the evening and dawn.

The Hills star Frankie Delgado celebrated his birthday with dinner under the Buddha and was joined by guests including Stephanie Pratt, her new boyfriend motocross gold medalist Josh Hanson and Jesse McCartney. Stephanie was unconcerned about reports of her brother Spencer Pratt’s break-up with Heidi Montag.

Also spotted: Jenny McCarthy, tennis champion Boris Becker, Chuy Bravo Chelsea Lately regular Chris Franjola, Wilmer Valderrama, David Spade, Roy Williams of the Cincinnati Bengals, Washington Redskins’ Larry Johnson on two consecutive nights and New York Knicks’ Al Harrington. While DJ Vice spun for the packed crowd, Wilmer took over emcee duties while Reggie Bush of the New Orleans Saints stood atop the catwalk with his sunglasses on and a bottle of bubbly in hand. Avatar hunk Sam Worthington stuck with beer at his table.

One cabana alone at Tao Beach’s weekend parties included Stacy, Larry, Stephen Colletti, Reggie and Larry Fitzgerald of the New Orleans Saints. Mark, Cheryl and Ashley enjoyed mojitos and champagne nearby on a day bed.

DJ Rony Seikaly, formerly of the Miami Heat, took to the turn tables at Tao Beach’s Beatport Beach Party with Wilmer, Tara Reid and Stephanie partying in the grand cabana overlooking the pool. Frankie continued his birthday celebration with Lauren Conrad, Jessie and Reggie.

Over at Lavo were Paris, Lauren, Frankie, Oscar winner Forest Whitaker, his wife Keisha, producer Damon Elliott, Stacy, Cheryl, Mark and his father Corky Ballas, who showed off some tango moves in the dining room after their meal.
