Regular Las Vegas visitors and guest deejays Benji and Joel Madden of Good Charlotte kick off the third year of the Bamboozle Road Show today at noon in The Joint at the Hard Rock Hotel. With more than 12 acts appearing on two stages -- one in The Joint and the other in Carey Hart’s Wasted Space -- you can be assured that you won’t be bamboozled with the 12 nonstop hours of performances.
The Bamboozle Festival began in 2005 in New Jersey as a summer salute to pop punk, surf rock and skate music of the early 1990s in Southern California. It stretched its wings as competition to Lollapalooza with shows in Chicago and California. This year marks the third year of the traveling road show.
Third Eye Blind.
The rotating artists in The Joint are Good Charlotte, Third Eye Blind, Boys Like Girls, Hellogoodbye, Swayze, All Time Low and Forever the Sickest Kids. The second stage in Wasted Space showcases up-and-coming talent including A Cursive Memory, Cady Groves, Great Big Planes, Mercy Mercedes, The Downtown Fiction, The Ready Set and Vita Chambers. Now that’s a packed tour bus or two!
Tickets are $35.50 for the 12 hours of music to be followed by at least six hours of partying through tomorrow morning. If Peepshow’s Holly Madison shows up to cheer for Benji, then that romance is alive and well.
