The battle between Desperate Housewives star Eva Longoria Parker and the managers she ousted from her Beso restaurant and Eve nightclub in Crystals at MGM’s CityCenter will be settled in court. The actress has fired back against the accusations stemming from her dismissal of Ronen and Mali Nachum.

In her first statement since the messy circumstances unraveled, one of the star’s associates told me: “Eva Longoria Parker is a well-respected businesswoman and is nothing short of honorable in all endeavors that she embarks upon, whether they be political, philanthropic or in any professional business capacity.

“All allegations made by the Nachums against Longoria Parker, her business partner and restaurant are absolutely false, untrue and without merit. Longoria Parker plans to countersue the couple in the court of law in order to protect the integrity of the restaurant, its brand, the welfare and well being of her employees and as well as her own reputation."

We posted a story May 7 about the actions Eva took against the managers.

Red Carpet: Tony Parker's 28th Birthday

I’m hearing that their lawsuit against Eva is only claiming $10,000. Beso and Eve are continuing to do well even since the conflict, and she is now finally seeing the much-larger profit figures.

Beso and Eve have become a hot nightlife entertainment success story since Eva opened them here on New Year’s Eve after similar success with the original restaurant in Hollywood. Eva’s already played host to a slew of stars at the CityCenter outpost and plans to continue boosting its records.

“We did nothing wrong,” one of Eva’s partners said. “She’s being sued because she’s a celebrity name.” Another insider told me: “Eva is no tyrant. She is adored by everybody and admired for her business acumen. It was her attention to detail in the first place that unearthed the financial problems there when the club and restaurant were doing so well anyway. She’s simply not going to let the actions of others tarnish her reputation and standing.”
