For the past 48 hours, Peepshow star Holly Madison has been on a one-woman, nonstop multimedia blitz for her new E! Entertainment reality TV series Holly’s World, which premieres Sunday night. “It’s been absolutely crazy,” Holly told me. “I’m running on solar power!”
She describes the eight-episode first run as “good guilty pleasure -- perfect viewing for the end of the weekend.” She laughed: “It’s fun, it’s good, and there’s plenty of drama and eye candy as the cameras roll to see if dreams can come true in Las Vegas.”
Holly told me that she sat in her Planet Hollywood suite Wednesday night and watched the first three episodes. “I loved them,” she said. “I can’t give anything away, but the first episode was shot down on the Riviera Maya near Cancun, and there’s a blowout. There’s real drama complete with a fistfight that gets pretty physical. And Robin, you’ve got some very funny lines in the third episode!”
Her castmates are Peepshow co-star Josh Strickland, best friend Laura Croft and assistant Angel Porrino. “Angel even fixes me up with some dates, but you’ll have to wait and see what happens and where that leads,” Holly said. “This looks a little like Charlie’s Angels, with us three girls and Josh pulling the strings!”
Holly has gone from being a zany best friend and confidante on The Girls Next Door to Las Vegas headliner and a girl in search of love. In Holly’s World, she’ll show how she created a new life for herself after moving from The Playboy Mansion to Las Vegas and balancing her work schedule with her social whirl. Viewers will see her throw Angel the world’s biggest 21st birthday party, catch up with former co-stars Kendra Wilkinson and Bridget Marquardt, and the only other fact is that no one can predict what might happen next.
Yesterday, the media blitz moved into high gear with Holly up by 3 a.m. for a TV satellite tour of more than 15 cities, then to L.A. in time for a live morning show appearance followed by Ryan Seacrest’s radio show, video for E! News and a People shoot. Incredibly, she was back here by 1 p.m. and talking with me. Last night, Holly was a Playboy Bunny dealer at The Playboy Club to celebrate the 50th anniversary of the landmark nightspot, and contributing photographers Erik Kabik and Scott Harrison were on duty for our photo gallery.
This morning, she’s got the satellite radio tour to 15 cities. She’s even squeezing in eight hours of overseas interviews as Holly’s World starts broadcasting in Britain and Australia at the end of the month.

At 1 p.m. today, she staffs the Tickets and Tours booth for two hours in The Forum Shops at Caesars Palace raising funds for The Animal Foundation, where she adopted her dogs Napoleon and Josephine. All tickets sold for Peepshow tomorrow at the 18 Tickets and Tours outlets citywide will have a portion donated to the foundation, Holly’s favorite cause.
She also told me that she and Peepshow have been renewed through Dec. 31 and that her nightly audiences grow stronger despite the economic downturn and all the competition on The Strip.
“The schedule has been wild because I’ve been filming by day and doing Peepshow at night. We’ve also reached the closing stages of finishing my book. I’ve been doing all of that myself on the computer. It’s all me. No co-writer. No help. If there’s been any spare time, it’s gone to that project -- about how a single girl can have unique and different fun in Las Vegas. It will be published in the fall.
“I’m hoping next week with the publicity duties out the way and the launch of the show successfully completed, I can spend some time finally finishing the decorating of my house so I can move in. You’ll see the housewarming in the third episode, but I’ve got to find time to finish that now.”

On Sunday, Holly will host a screening of the pilot and the premiere in the Playing Field Race and Sports Book at Planet Hollywood starting at 10:30 p.m., and fans are invited to join her and her cast for the party.
She summed up: “I don’t know what comes next. I’m too busy to think about it, so I must just play it all by ear. All I can say is that I’m very excited about my life here, but I still think there’s bigger and better still to come along around the corner.”
