The 24th Annual Ribbon of Life fundraiser at the Las Vegas Hilton for the HIV/AIDS charity Golden Rainbow raised $175,000 for its one-day-only show Sunday. Singers, dancers and performers from Las Vegas shows and theatrical organizations dazzled a crowd of 1,300 with 24 numbers in the all-original production.

Master illusionist Siegfried Fischbacher and protege magician Darren Romeo attended, as did Peepshow lead singer Josh Strickland, who starred in the “Forbidden Fruit” number. Travis Cloer from Jersey Boys performed “Georgia on My Mind” with the cast, and Kristen Hertzenberg from Phantom -- Las Vegas Spectacular performed “When He Loves Me.”

Casts from Jubilee!, Zumanity, Fantasy, Sirens of T.I., Sin City Bad Girls, Le Reve, The Lion King, Love, Legends in Concert, Voices, Show in the Sky and Viva Elvis took part, as did Centrifuge, The Dance Center, Dancing Mothers and Fathers Up and Down the Strip, Flirt Dancers, Mosaic, Nevada Ballet Theater, Paul & Natalie’s “Vote GOP 2010” Dancers, Drea Tanner, Studio 54, Tara Foy’s Elite Ballet Company, Tony Sacca’s Vegas the Show and The Viper Vixens.

Contributing photographer Tom Donoghue, who shot this extraordinary collection of photos at the dress rehearsal and show, said: “It simply was the most thrilling show I’ve ever seen. The depth of talent in Las Vegas is astonishing. This was the best show Las Vegas has ever presented.”

The show ran two hours without an intermission and featured 300 Strip performers in the 24 numbers. Christopher Kenney of Zumanity served as the emcee, and “Adam and Eve” performed by the Peepshow cast and “Grease Monkeys” performed by dancers and their tiny tots were big hits.
