Sir Richard Branson and burlesque queen Dita Von Teese flew into McCarran International Airport here today to celebrate the 10th anniversary of Virgin Airways’ direct London Gatwick to Las Vegas flights. The madcap multimillionaire and the voluptuous vixen even danced on the wing of a new Boeing 777 used for the anniversary flight.

Sir Richard tomorrow unveils at a press conference at Bellagio his plans to launch direct service from Manchester to McCarran next year, and then he and the Virgin staff and crew celebrate at Moon in the Palms. It’s another tremendous coup by the Las Vegas Convention and Visitors Authority for our desert kingdom of fun.
