On June 17, 2010, Wayne Brady's wax figure was unveiled, and the actor and comedian returned to The Venetian.

It was one of those Las Vegas nights when the stars really came out to play, and Vegas DeLuxe had to scramble to catch up with everyone. Talk about a glittering night on the town.
WAYNE BRADY
At The Venetian, TV game-show host and comedy actor Wayne Brady held court, and you would swear that you were seeing double. That’s because he was at Madame Tussauds, accompanied by daughter Maile, to unveil his wax figure, which has been added to the amazing collection.
Our contributing photographer Tom Donoghue captured the two Waynes -- and all the other fun of the night, including Wayne’s return to The Venetian. Vegas DeLuxe recently interviewed Wayne about his show at The Venetian.
THE BEACH BOYS
Tom also was on duty poolside at The Venetian for The Beach Boys’ “Good Vibrations” concert. Vegas DeLuxe posted an interview yesterday with Mike Love and his advance look at next year’s 50th anniversary of the group who have been “Surfing USA” and kicking off summertime for the past five decades.
NEAL PRESTON
Over at the Hard Rock Hotel, contributing photographer Erik Kabik trained his camera on a legend of the lens: rock photographer Neal Preston, who unveiled an extraordinary exhibit of 40 of his incredible and iconic images. Vegas DeLuxe posted an interview with Neal last week.
Academy Award-winning director and screenwriter Cameron Crowe (Almost Famous, Jerry McGuire, Say Anything, Fast Times at Ridgemont High) joined his good friend Neal at Skybar for the photo exhibition. Cameron and Neal go back to the early 1970s era of Rolling Stone magazine where they both covered the rock music scene depicted in the images and in Cameron’s Almost Famous.

The exhibition celebrates four decades of Neal’s work that now goes on display throughout the resort and is available for purchase at the retail store. Cameron penned the introduction to a personal account feature story by the photographer that appears in the new issue of HRH Magazine also released last night.
The exhibit includes a limited-edition, never-before-seen Led Zeppelin enlarged contact sheet. Musicians performed classical renditions of classic rock songs during the art show, followed by a set by White Buffalo.
