Strip Scribbles: Holly Madison denies romance with UFC’s Josh Koscheck

Online gossips went into overdrive yesterday morning when Radar Online posted a story of an intimate date between Peepshow star Holly Madison and UFC fighter Josh Koscheck. It sounded like a perfect match: Holly is 30, Josh is 32, and both are famous. However, it isn’t so. I asked Holly to respond, and seconds later she stopped it cold. She admitted that Josh and she had been at Strip House in Planet Hollywood, but they were in a large group of friends and not an intimate duo in a tete-a-tete.

“No romance,” she texted me. “He’s just an acquaintance. We weren’t alone. I was hanging out with a lot of others in a large group. I have a lot of guy friends but date very few.” In fact, on last night’s second episode of Holly’s World, her new reality TV show on E!, her buddies Laura Croft, Angel Porrino and Peepshow co-star Josh Strickland were filmed trying to fix her up on a blind date with a BMX stunt rider, but that matchup didn’t prove positive. Holly recently talked with Vegas DeLuxe about dating and searching for Mr. Right.

Holly turned up later the same night with Chanel from MTV’s Fantasy Factory at Pure in Caesars Palace and then again with her to soak up the sun at Venus Pool Club the next afternoon. Holly wore a stunning, white, one-piece swimsuit with oversized black sunglasses and heels.

*Poker starlet Tiffany Michelle is one busy Twitter user. In a black leather strapless mini-dress and hair in loose curls, she celebrated her 26th birthday at Eva Longoria Parker’s Eve the Nightclub in MGM CityCenter’s Crystals. Tiffany, who is one of the top female competitors in the 2010 World Series of Poker, first dined at Beso below Eve with fellow players Liv Boeree, Maria Ho, Jeff Madsen, Adam Levy, Trishelle Cannatella and adult film actress Samantha Ryan.

She tweeted: “Now one of my favorite restaurants is in Los Angeles AND Vegas … dining at Beso, then bday fun @Eve_NightclubLV.” After dinner, the group walked the red carpet and chatted with fans before dancing the night away at Eve, and she tweeted: “Definitely my new favorite club, so purty & spacious @Eve_NightclubLV.” Jeff and Trishelle, from MTV’s Real World Las Vegas, were seen dancing and flirting together. Maria’s boyfriend pro poker player McLean Karr joined the group after a late finish from a poker competition. An elaborate pink poker-themed cake with the words “Hot Chipz,” Michelle’s nickname, from Gimme Some Sugar was presented at 1 a.m., and Tiffany tweeted: “Off the hook @Eve_NightclubLV. Best bday ever, not to mention the SICKEST cake.”

*Superstar Cher plays host tonight at Caesars Palace to her Take Me Home producer Ron Dante, who is bringing his girlfriend Roo to celebrate her birthday on a Las Vegas getaway. Ron, who just released his CD Favorites, records here at the Palm Studio and produced several of the tracks on Cher’s hit album and many of Barry Manilow’s chartbusters. Favorites has 20 tracks, many his hits including “Billy Don’t Be a Hero,” “I Go to Rio,” “Lay a Little Lovin’ on Me” and “Old Time Rock and Roll.”

Wayne Brady was spotted at Sky Zone jumping for joy and catching some air on the dozens of trampolines there. … The gorgeous Alizma Triplets were at the Vegas 7th anniversary party at Encore Beach Club in Encore on Saturday and asked me to pose with them for a photo, which suddenly attracted a lot of other lovely ladies, too. … Flavor Flav was at the The Ultimate Fighter bouts at The Pearl in the Palms, and the crowd went wild when the DJ played some rapping clips and his signature shout-out. Dr. Linda Li of Dr. 90210 also watched the fights. … Flamenco star Roni Benise watched Human Nature at Imperial palace. … It was a combined birthday and Father’s Day weekend for actor and UFC hero Quinton "Rampage" Jackson. Fresh off the media tour for The A-Team, he celebrated his birthday at Vanity in the Hard Rock Hotel with UFC head honcho Dana White, Keith Jardine, UFC ring girl Arianny Celeste and his dad. The Maxim cover girl model also hung with Rampage and his dad yesterday at Rehab Father’s Day party along with Diana Ross' son Evan and singer and The Hills star Ryan Cabrera. Comedian Pauly Shore was seen talking with Dana at Vanity. Pauly stayed at the Trump International Hotel while here with Ryan and actor Christopher Mintz-Plasse. … NFL legend Warren Moon made his third visit over the weekend to Encore Beach Club to celebrate his NFL Superstar Sports Dream Bowl after-party along with Stacy Keibler and UFC Hall of Famer Chuck Liddell, who was alongside me at XS in Encore on Friday.

Since today at the halfway mark of the year is the longest day of the year, it makes it the shortest night of the year, so squeeze in as much as you can! As of 5 p.m. today through noon tomorrow, the Palms has on display for free more than a dozen prestigious NHL trophies, including the Stanley Cup, in advance of this year’s NHL Awards at The Pearl on Wednesday. … The Faces of Metal Tour with Blinddryve, Anesthesia, Howitzer and Lost Point is at Carey Hart’s Wasted Space in the Hard Rock Hotel. … Comedians J.J. Ramirez, Chris Voth and Bill Bauers are at the Riviera Comedy Club through Sunday. … The Miss Bootylicious Shake It Like a Salt Shaker contest is at Jet in The Mirage, and the Party Girls & Pinups Party is at nearby Bare Pool Lounge. … The event with Luxor comedian Carrot Top scheduled at Minus 5 Lounge in Mandalay Place to launch his Heat-Miser cocktail has been postponed.
