Cirque du Soleil’s Viva Elvis at Aria in MGM’s CityCenter has become the must-see for celebrities on Las Vegas trips. Over the weekend, Rachel Huntington celebrated her birthday there with husband Sam Huntington, who played Jimmy Olsen in Superman Returns, plus friends Superman himself Brandon Routh, his wife Courtney Ford of Dexter and Ryan Hansen from Friday the 13th and Party Down.

It was Sam’s first Cirque show, and they all went backstage afterward, where Ryan attempted to harmonize with Viva Elvis singer Toscha Comeaux.

Then the cast the next evening welcomed Extra host and actor Mario Lopez and actress-singer Juliette Lewis. Mario and his girlfriend Courtney Mazza, who is pregnant, enjoyed the show after spending the day at Aria’s Liquid Pool Lounge.

Juliette, sporting blue hair, was in town with six girlfriends to celebrate three of the girls’ birthdays at Sage in Aria. Juliette, formerly with The Licks and now with The New Romantiques, went backstage and met the Viva Elvis band.

Juliette celebrated her own birthday at Pure in Caesars Palace. Dressed in a black and white top and black pants, Juliette hung out in the club’s VIP section as the group danced to music by DJ Jesse Marco and was presented with a giant bright red birthday cake.

And Viva Elvis continues to be a celebrity magnet! Hip-hop superstar Snoop Dogg and his family celebrated his daughter’s birthday at Viva Elvis, and during the finale, Snoop and his wife waved the red Elvis scarves they caught.

Snoop was greeted backstage last night with shouts and cheers from the cast, and he posed for photographs. When his daughter joined in the impromptu photo session, the cast and Snoop sang “Happy Birthday” to her.

Snoop praised the cast, saying it was the best show he’d ever seen and that “Jailhouse Rock” was his favorite song. On his way out of the theater, he said “Man, this was a defining moment in Snoop history!”
