Selling price for Michael Jackson’s glove at Julien’s Auctions: $160,000

Vegas DeLuxe reported yesterday that fans in Las Vegas and throughout the world paid tribute to the late King of Pop Michael Jackson, who passed away one year ago. His wax figure stands guard at Madame Tussauds at The Venetian, as this photograph by Glenn Pinkerton of Las Vegas News Bureau shows, and fans lined up to take photographs.

On last night’s Dateline on NBC featuring an exclusive interview with Katherine Jackson, Jackson’s mother, it was reported that since his death, Jackson’s estate has made $1 billion, which will help when $300 million in taxes comes due this year. Jackson’s music sales are stronger than ever since his tragic death.

Meantime, Jackson’s glittery white glove fetched an astounding $160,000 at Julien’s Auctions at Planet Hollywood, as reported by Las Vegas Suncolleague Amanda Finnegan. The celebrity memorabilia auction continues through tomorrow.
