Girls, girls, girls, and just one funny guy! That’s been the successful formula for the sexy romp X Burlesque at the Flamingo, which celebrated its third anniversary with new scanty costumes and pulsating and throbbing dance numbers.

There are blondes, brunettes and redheads in the enthusiastic take-it-all-off lineup, and they put stripper poles, bathtubs and floor mattresses to great use with all their sexual moves and gyrating gymnastics. The topless silk number is quite frankly amazing, and when the topless temptresses make it snow at the end of the bed number, plan to never sleep through winter again.

Our contributing photographer Tom Donoghue was right into the action with his close-up lenses, and most of the photos were just too hot and tempestuous (OK, topless) for posting here today. Sorry about that, folks. You’ll have to see the show for yourself!

X Burlesque Third Anniversary Performance at Flamingo

The one guy is standup comic James Bean with the funniest read of the year from what he explained was Tiger Woods’ original confession as the girls handed out condoms to the audience. Don’t miss the humorous video gag, either, with Jerry Lewis at the top of the show.

Former Baywatch beauty Angelica Bridges and her cast of rival topless burlesque cabaret Fantasy at the Luxor turned out for the pink carpet celebration, as did High School Reunion star Elena Machine, actress Shondelle Avery of Napoleon Dynamite, bandleader Lon Bronson, the Men of X dancers, Saint Rose, Sin City Sinners, magician Seth Grabel, singer Chris Phillips of Zowie Bowie, NASCAR driver Taylor Burton, comedian Vinnie Favorito and adult film star Sunset Thomas in the highest of thigh-high boots and the shortest of T-shirt dresses.

Also there was modern Nostradamus Gary Spivey, who not only predicted great success for the new show but also told me that he and I would be doing a TV series together when I returned from a European trip this summer. He certainly got my visit to Italy correct, but we’ll see about the TV show -- I’m honestly getting too old for that grueling schedule these days!

This super sexy romp now features seven new numbers, including new choreography for a closing salute to Elvis Presley.

EDITOR’S NOTES

Our esteemed Editor Don Chareunsy also attended the third anniversary celebration, and here are his thoughts: “Having seen X Burlesque twice before, the third time’s the charm, as the 75-minute show is sexier than ever. The energy is high and electric right from the start, with the sexy cast entering the stage to Metallica’s ‘Roam’ and Britney Spears’ ‘3’.

“Highlights include a hip-hop medley to Wale’s ‘Chillin,’ Ester Dean’s ‘Drop It Low’ and Beyonce’s ‘Diva’; a country medley to Jessica Simpson’s ‘These Boots Are Made for Walking ’ and Trace Adkins’ ‘Honky Tonk Badonkadonk’; and Christina Aguilera’s ‘Candy Man.’ The ladies are gorgeous … and flexible. X Burlesque truly ruffles your feathers the right way at the Flamingo.”
