Photos: Bridget Marquardt shimmers and shines in silver at Moon

Fashion experts, or at least the Svedka Vodka folks, are predicting that our 2033 wardrobe will shimmer and shine like the silvery moon, so Playboy beauty and The Girls Next Door star Bridget Marquardt dressed the part in a futuristic fashion forward look early this morning and, appropriately, her platinum party was at Moon above The Playboy Club at the Palms.

Our contributing photographer Scott Harrison and photographer Denise Truscello adjusted their lenses to avoid all the reflecting glitter and glare to capture these photographs of Bridget’s extraordinary and radical astronaut look.

Since her five years in The Playboy Mansion with Hugh Hefner and their hit The Girls Next Door alongside Holly Madison and Kendra Wilkinson, we’ve become accustomed to seeing Bridget in the briefest of bikinis as she’s bounced down the beaches and sunbathed as sexy as could be on her Travel Channel series Bridget’s Beaches, about the world’s best vacation playgrounds.

Bridget and I once joked that her show was an updated version of my five-year romp with Runaway, except she, of course, was a much more beautiful body under the sun!

The Svedka-hosted Playboy Club Circa 2033 Party at Moon was still going strong into the pre-dawn hours this morning. Bridget brought her film director boyfriend Nick Carpenter with her to Las Vegas, and the happy couple showed their love with silver kisses during the party surrounded by models in similar shimmering silver.

The futuristic outfits will probably never become beachwear, but for Las Vegas nightclubs now and in the future, they do make the perfect party outfits!
