What a night! What a party! What a sensational show! What sophistication and style! What a re-created Rat Pack glory days memory!

The premiere of British crooner Matt Goss in his new Gossy Lounge at Caesars Palace last night wound up with a star-studded finale as Scary Spice singer Mel B and Natasha Bedingfield joined Matt onstage for a shout-out sing-along. Singer Leona Lewis almost made it to the stage, too, but even “trapped” behind four of the sexiest, stocking-clad decadent dancers high-kicking all over the banquettes, she was on her feet cheering , singing, waving and clapping along with them.

Vegas DeLuxe will have a full photo report Monday from the red carpet with reality TV beauty Laura Croft and Pussycat Dolls founder Robin Antin, who is producing Matt’s new residency at the Roman Empire, and from the hot, high-energy show inside the made-over Cleopatra’s Barge. It was standing-room-only inside, but more than three times as many people lined up for well over an hour outside the showroom to listen to the curtained-off performance.

Long-standing Gossy fans and people who’d never heard the British singer before simply loved the music. Matt kept his premiere party going to early this morning when he was feted by fans and stars who wanted autographs and photos.

Meantime, enjoy these two shots from Denise Truscello, and check out my Twitter page for my live video and photo reports during the power-packed performance. There’s even a short video interview with Matt right after the show, albeit in the dark lounge!

Check back here Monday for Denise’s other photos, plus the photos from Las Vegas News Bureau’s Brian Jones and contributing photographers Erik Kabik and Scott Harrison. We’ll also explain in Mel B’s own words why she’s shaved off one quarter of the side of her head!

Matt performs again tonight at his new home and will be there every weekend. In our interview with Matt posted yesterday, he talks about his plans for the residency run.
