When it comes to supporting local Las Vegas charities, our Strip entertainers are the first in line to volunteer. Former Baywatch beauty Angelica Bridges, who headlines Fantasy at the Luxor, was in the spotlight scooping ice cream at the Ben & Jerry’s in The District at Green Valley Ranch.
The ice cream makers each year give away free ice cream cones and hope that happy customers will in exchange donate generously to a charity, and this was the 32nd annual event.
Our contributing photographer Erik Kabik was on hand when Angelica led her Fantasy ladies and the hunks from Thunder From Down Under at the Excalibur to Ben & Jerry’s at The District. It was all to benefit St. Jude’s Ranch for Children. Angelica’s giant Vermonster ice cream sundae proved the biggest hit of the day!
One of Thunder’s most ardent fans showed up to cheer on her favorite gorgeous guys. Franny Kring has seen Thunder more than 400 times and still plans to keep going. So for Franny it was an extra-special delight to get up close to cool down with the ab-tastic Aussies.
Cast members of Thunder From Down Under serve ice cream at Ben & Jerry's 32nd Annual 'Free Cone Day' at The District on March 23, 2010.
Other stars including magician Nathan Burton, Imperial Palace headliners Human Nature, comedian Vinnie Favorito and cast members from The Lion King, The Men of X and X Burlesque volunteered at Ben & Jerry’s outlets at Sunset Station and The Galleria at Sunset to raise donations for Nevada Community Learning Centers and the Lied Children’s Discovery Museum, respectively.
