Burlesque queen Dita Von Teese has arrived in Las Vegas safely and has already begun rehearsals for her Wednesday night encore premiere in Crazy Horse Paris at MGM Grand. She’ll perform three sexy, saucy and sassy new numbers on the cabaret stage there for a limited run through April 7.
Dita was the first guest star in the history of the famous cabaret, and she will feature new performance numbers that she developed especially for her sold-out performances in the French capital last year.
She will debut “Lazy,” a routine that features her and the magnificent Crazy Horse dancers. Her “Le Bain Noir” will be a new take on her famous bathtub show that she first performed here in 2007. Dita also promises a new “Teese’ing’ version of the iconic Crazy Horse number “Teasing.”

The petite porcelain powerhouse, fashion icon, author and entrepreneur, who once dated Marilyn Manson, said: “I’m really excited about returning to the Crazy Horse stage in Las Vegas.” Coincidentally, before she found fame, fortune and stardom, Dita told me she once danced for dollars at the topless gentlemen’s club Crazy Horse Club here in Sin City.
As I will be away in the Caribbean on Jumby Bay off the coast of Antigua for Easter, I will miss her Wednesday night topless unveiling. I’m meeting with Dita today, and we’ll have that one-on-one interview and photo gallery Wednesday. Then our Editor of Excellence Don Chareunsy will attend the show, so watch for his review right here at Vegas DeLuxe on Thursday.
There’s arguably no better artist than Dita to put her unique spin on the legendary striptease traditions of Paris’ famed Crazy Horse. If founder Alain Bernardin was still alive today, he would be the first in line to send her roses of congratulations.

While here for the eight-day run, Dita has two special gift packages via Ticketmaster.com. Fans can bid on two chances for a private backstage meet-and-greet with Dita after watching her performance from front-row seats.
