It’s already being called one of the biggest nights Las Vegas nightlife has ever seen, as Sean “P. Diddy” Combs last night threw one of the most popular after-fight parties on the Las Vegas Strip at Eva Longoria Parker’s glamorous new restaurant Beso and nightclub Eve.

With Eve at capacity by 10 p.m., thousands of fans gathered outside the hotspot in Crystals at MGM’s CityCenter hoping for a chance to see the music and entrepreneurial mogul. I was right in the thick of it all safely behind a 50-strong security wall, which in the end still wasn’t enough to deal with the enthusiastic fans.

I toured both sections of the restaurant nightclub and the outdoor patio just before the guests started arriving. It was beautifully decorated for the party, and Eva had even hired the dance cast of Peepshow at Planet Hollywood to perform acrobatic dancing to entertain the revelers. Before the party started, the gorgeous cocktail servers had watched the Floyd Mayweather Jr. and Shane Mosley fight on giant screens so that they were in the know if asked about the results by the party people.

P. Diddy Hosts Party at Eve

Eventually, the crowd grew to such numbers that managers canceled the celebrity red carpet in order to ensure the safety of everyone. Celebrities including T.I., Gabrielle Union, Swizz Beatz and Nelly, along with gorgeous Eva herself, fought their way through the crowds to party the night away, dancing and drinking champagne and Diddy’s own Ciroc vodka cocktails. Brothers and Old School and The Nutty Professor stars Jamal and Jerod Mixon also joined the party.

When Diddy arrived, he welcomed fans inside the packed-to-capacity club, and they kept the party going until dawn. Sean surprised the enthusiastic crowd when he hit the stage with Swizz Beatz and rapped for fans. Our thanks to David Becker of WireImage for the small photo gallery of celebrities at Eve.

Floyd Mayweather Jr. Celebrates at Studio 54

Now you all know I am a Twitter fanatic, but Sean outdoes me! He kept tweeting updated reports of his own party himself: “There’s 6,000 people outside Eve right now!!!” “T.I. + Nelly in the building!!!!!” “Eve’s never seen it like this!!!!!!!!”

“THANK YOU FOR COMING OUT, VEGAS!!!"

Time and again, Diddy toasted Eva and the success of her Las Vegas nightclub Eve. He was presented with a cake shaped like an oversized Ciroc bottle made by Gimme Some Sugar, and the vodka owner and pitchman tweeted, “Now that’s a cake -- & the only vodka.”

Mayweather vs. Mosley: Fight Night

As we reported this morning, Floyd hosted his own after-party at Studio 54 in MGM Grand.
