Strip Scribbles: Le Reve celebrates fifth anniversary

Congratulations to the cast and crew of Le Reve, which celebrates its fifth anniversary tonight at the Wynn. Both opened simultaneously in 2005 and have been enchanting guests and audiences ever since. You know me and my thirst for fun facts, so here are the behind-the-scenes numbers for Le Reve:
More than 250 cast and crew work on Le Reve each day. Thirty-two performers and 57 technicians and production staff have been with the show since the beginning for more than 2,200 performances. Some 1.3 million towels have been used, 28,080 red tango shoes have been repaired and some 114,400 loads of laundry have been done. Le Reve was created by Franco Dragone of Franco Dragone Entertainment Group, and several dance routines were choreographed by Maksim Chmerkovskiy of Dancing With the Stars.
In celebration of the anniversary, Las Vegas residents receive a $50 savings on premium tickets by calling (702) 770-9966 and mentioning the code “local.”
Susan Feniger samples her cuisine.
*Congratulations to our Mandalay Bay chefs Susan Feniger of Border Grill and Rick Moonen of RM Seafood for their joint wins last night on Bravo’s Top Chef Masters. Both continue to the champions round next week with Team Blue colleagues Johnathan Waxman and Jody Adams. In a Quickfire Challenge repeat from Season 6 of Top Chef, the masters were split into two teams for a blindfolded relay race judged by restaurant critic Jay Rayner. The atmosphere turned festive during the elimination round as the same teams were challenged to cater a wedding in San Juan Capistrano out of mobile kitchens. Team Blue won both.
Carson Daly is flanked by Teller and Penn Gillette.
*Emily Jillette, who appeared with husband Penn Jillette and Teller on today’s 1:35 a.m. Carson Daly show, has produced commercials for Jennifer Harman and the upcoming WSOP Tournament of Champions. Jennifer is a two-time WSOP bracelet winner. Here’s the first spot on YouTube -- that’s Emily seated next to Jennifer.

*Steve Martorano is hosting Chazz Palminteri and three couples at $4,200 each that bid on dinner with Chazz at an Evening of Hope in Las Vegas last Friday. The event was for The Candlelighters Foundation, which raises money for children with cancer. It was supposed to be one couple for dinner with Chazz, but he got three couples to pay $4,200 each. They will be at Martorano’s in The Rio tonight at 10.
*Master magician Lance Burton will entertain more than 500 volunteers from St. Rose Dominican Hospitals at The M Resort at their volunteer appreciation event Saturday. The group will be treated to his show after lunch.
