Exclusive photos: Criss Angel’s Season 6 of Mindfreak begins

Mindfreak magician Criss Angel is juggling an incredible schedule as he continues simultaneously his new Season 6 of A&E one-hour TV specials and his twice-nightly Believe for Cirque du Soleil at Luxor.

This weekend, Criss faces the ultimate task of re-creating a dangerous Houdini stunt. Criss will be shackled and dropped from the London Bridge at Lake Havasu in Arizona, as we reported yesterday.

Criss flies back and forth today in final stunt preparations and helicopter flyover of the site, then again flies there tomorrow morning when he’ll be chained and handcuffed into the waters.

“It’s escape -- or drown and die,” one of his producers said. “It’s probably the most dangerous escape of his life, but Criss wants to pay homage to Houdini."

Meantime, Vegas DeLuxe has obtained two exclusive photos from Mindfreak. In one episode, Criss produces a poisonous desert scorpion from his mouth, and in another, he’ll perform stunts at the Grand Canyon, including this fireball adventure and a jump across the canyon.

Film cameras also are tailing him for an A&E Biography special.
