Photos: Miss USA hopefuls rehearse for tonight’s preliminary judging

For the first time tonight, the Miss USA Pageant princesses showcase their dance steps, model ball gowns and swimsuits in their 8 p.m. presentation show at the Theater for the Performing Arts in Planet Hollywood. Official pageant photographer Gregg Harborough captured the girls in their rehearsals for the show.

Reigning Miss USA Kristen Dalton, who passes on the crown Sunday, will be joined by Morning Zoo DJ Chet Buchanan of 98.5 FM to host the show. The Donny & Marie Show producer Chip Lightman is on the panel of preliminary judges.

Our contributing photographer Tom Donoghue will join me at the event for our full photo gallery of the hopefuls that will be posted here at Vegas DeLuxe tomorrow. The live two-hour telecast Sunday starts here at 4 p.m. for the 7 p.m. East Coast broadcast and airs 7 p.m. PT.
