Strip Scribbles: Mario Lopez, Lo Bosworth host 3rd annual bikini bash

It’s an overly ambitious photo shoot as Extra host Mario Lopez and The Hills star Lo Bosworth oversee hundreds of bikini-clad and fearless females at Planet Hollywood’s pool today. Mario will emcee the effort as the ladies laze about to spell the word C-O-S-M-O for a photograph as a photographer in a helicopter above snaps the image to be featured in Cosmopolitan’s August issue.

The stunt kicks off the 2010 Nivea Goodbye, Cellulite, Hello, Bikini challenge. Midi Mafia joins DJ Mika to keep the curvy cuties entertained and in correct line formation. The first 1,000 girls who show up to take part receive free designer bikinis by Shay Todd for Nivea.

Mario plans to sign copies of his new book Extra Lean, and to help keep people energized, Celsius will be handed out. Mario is the national spokesman for the energy drink and uses it in tandem with his exercise routines for his sexy physique. Vegas DeLuxe will have full photo coverage tomorrow of the spelling bee -- B for bikini! The official after-party is at Jet in The Mirage tonight.

Holly Madison and Josh Strickland at the Fourth Annual Jennifer Harman Charity Poker Tournament at The Venetian to benefit the Nevada Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals on April 13, 2010.

*The curtain went up at midnight yesterday for the Broadway Bares fundraiser at the Peepshow theater in Planet Hollywood hosted by the hit revue’s stars Holly Madison and Josh Strickland. Performers included casts of Peepshow, Chippendales, Le Reve, The Lion King, Sin City Comedy, Viva Elvis, Zumanity, Sin City Bad Girls and many dancers. The biggest audience reactions came from Le Reve’s “Vessel,” a high-powered performance with the entire cast, even though there was no nudity.

Our spywitness reported: “The Lion King’s ‘Fantasy’ was pretty racy for a Disney show, and Sin City Comedy’s Dorimar Bonilla, whose unique dance shoes seemed to make as much buzz as her performance. She custom designed her lipstick red high-heeled dance pumps and had them specially manufactured in Brazil. At the end of the show, all of the performers paraded around the stage allowing the audience to put dollar bills in their costumes in order to raise more money.”

Choreographer Nick Kenkel, who works with Peepshow, organized the concert and has been part of Broadway Cares/Equity Fights AIDS for the past eight years.
