Hot off the grill! It’s a top-secret TV project, but I’ve discovered that Caesars Palace celebrity chef Bobby Flay is one of several kitchen kings appearing on a new reality TV show titled America’s Next Great Restaurant filming this weekend in L.A. The chefs taste the food of nine restaurant concepts to find the winning formula.
*Congratulations to Caesars Palace star chef Bradley Ogden, whose outlet was honored as Best American Restaurant in Las Vegas by Southern Nevada Hotel Concierge Assn. voted on by more than 200 members of the nonprofit comprised of hotel concierges. Bradley was recognized for raising the bar of our fine dining.
A pioneer in the farm-fresh and organic movement, Bradley’s restaurant since 2003 has earned numerous accolades including the only local restaurant named Best New Restaurant of the Year by the James Beard Foundation in 2004, Best New Restaurant by Zagat in 2003, Best Burger in the U.S. by GQ last year and Forbes’ Four Star this year.
Chef Bradley Ogden prepares lunch for the contestants of the 2010 Miss USA Pageant at Caesars Palace on May 5, 2010.
Bradley has been named Best California Chef by James Beard, one of the Great American Chefs by International Wine and Food Society, winner of the Golden Plate Award by American Academy of Achievement and Chef of the Year by Culinary Institute of America.
“It’s an honor to receive this award from professionals who truly know Las Vegas and have experienced its amazing offerings,” Bradley said.
