Tony Parker and Eva Longoria Parker celebrate his 28th birthday at Eve Nightclub in Crystals at MGM's CityCenter on May 29, 2010.

It started as a boys’ night out for San Antonio Spurs star Tony Parker when he brought his teammates to The Strip. First stop was the monster UFC 114 Quinton “Rampage” Jackson vs. “Sugar” Rashad Evans fight last night at MGM Grand.

Then it was on to Beso and Eve in Crystals at MGM’s CityCenter, where his wife, Desperate Housewives star Eva Longoria Parker threw his 28th birthday bash. Thanks to photographer Denise Truscello, who captured the excitement inside the party, and to Scott Harrison, who was on red carpet duty.

As Tony and Eva walked the red carpet, the two talked about his birthday gifts and wishes. Eva, who said she gave Tony “a lot of things for his birthday,” including new four wheelers and “a Microsoft surface computer you can touch and play with,” added, “There’s a surprise tomorrow, which I can’t say right now, but there’s a surprise tomorrow. Huh, babe?” Eva looked stunning with her hair in soft waves and in a gorgeous dress by Elizabeth and Jenny and Brian Atwood shoes.

Our spywitness reported: “Eva threw a lavish birthday party for her husband, Tony Parker, at Beso and Eve. The party of 12 started with dinner -- a decadent spread prepared by chef Matt Piekarski -- that included Eva’s signature tortilla soup and guacamole. The group also enjoyed sangria and desserts.

Tony told the crowd at Eve that he doesn’t drink much during the season, “but tonight, let’s have fun! Everyone get a shot, have a shot on me!” The club cheered wildly. An ornate black-and-white tiered birthday cake with oversized letters that spelled out Tony was presented around 1 a.m.; Gimme Some Sugar prepared the chocolate cake with chocolate ganache and chocolate mousse filling.

Denise also was at the Paris with her cameras when superstar entertainer Barry Manilow received Best Strip Headliner and Best Bang for Your Buck awards from our colleague Bruce Spotleson of Las Vegas Weekly last night.

There was a full turnout of Hollywood and UFC superstars at MGM Grand Garden Arena for the bitter rivalry of the UFC grudge match. The crowd included Paris Hilton, MC Hammer, Snoop Dogg, Mike Tyson, David Spade, Sam Worthington, Forrest Whitaker, Wilmer Valderrama and UFC fight stars Josh Koscheck, Frank Mir, Randy Couture, Georges St.-Pierre, Anderson Silva, Forrest Griffin and Tito Ortiz.

Other sports stars at UFC 114 included newly single Reggie Bush of the New Orleans Saints, Tony Parker and Tim Duncan of the San Antonio Spurs, Joe Thornton, Dan Boyle and Dany Heatley of the San Jose Sharks, Brandon Jacobs of the New York Giants, Larry Fitzgerald and Beanie Wells of the Arizona Cardinals, Knowshon Moreno of the Denver Broncos, Michael Huff of the Oakland Raiders and Kirk Morrison of the Jacksonville Jaguars.

The 41st Annual World Series of Poker’s second kickoff day featured 2009 WSOP champion Joe Cada, plus Caesars Palace headliner Matt Goss singing the national anthem to start the $1,000 buy-in No Limit Hold’em event. There are so many players that it’s taking yesterday and today to seat them all so that play can really begin.
