Three big Las Vegas nightlife changes before the end of the year?

News of last week’s takeover of Pure Management Group (Pure in Caesars Palace, LAX and Noir Bar in the Luxor, Social House in MGM CityCenter’s Crystals) by Angel Management Group wasn’t a surprise to Vegas DeLuxe readers, who read the information here first more than a week ahead of everybody else.

Now there are rumors of three other major nightlife moves all set to be revealed before the end of the year. Expect initial confirmation within the next month of a story we first reported in early July about the transformation of former Barbary Coast turned Bill’s Gamblin’ Hall & Saloon.

It will become a chic boutique hotel with a hot, hip daylife pool complex modeled after the new W Hotel’s in Hollywood that’s run there by nightclub czar Victor Drai, who owns Drai’s After Hours at Bill’s Gamblin’ Hall at center Strip. It’s safe to expect a roof-to-ground-floor makeover with new restaurants.

Watch the continuing negotiations for a nightlife group to acquire a hotel here and some of its other U.S. properties. Upon completion of the multimillion deal, many of its local clubs will be installed into their hotels, making them the top U.S. club operator. I’m reliably told the nightlife group is a buyer, not a seller, and although there’s no concrete deal until papers are signed, it’s getting closer to fruition. And if that fails, they have two other opportunities for an incredible expansion.

The third deal involves a continuing tussle between one nightclub operator and its current hotel venue partners who are unhappy about a spinoff going to a rival hotel. There’s talk about legal fights, bad blood and even rumors of ending the relationship altogether and taking back the property for themselves.
