New Hampshire’s Recycled Percussion nearly won NBC’s America’s Got Talent, and fans created such a furor over their zany musical skills that they’ve now landed a nightly show at Studio 54 in MGM Grand. Tonight, we ink-stained media wretches get to see the official grand opening.

The founders of Junk Rock -- a mixture of gritty assault on buckets, power tools and other noise-related objects -- push the sound limits with a concept and an interactive twist never before experienced in Las Vegas. Formed in 1994 at a high school talent show, the AGT alums placed 3rd out of more than 100,000 contestants, becoming the first non-singing act to place in the Top Three in the show’s history.

Recycled Percussion hits the red carpet before the performance, and cast members of Crazy Horse Paris at MGM Grand, Luxor comedian headliner Carrot Top, Lorena Peril and her Fantasy Girls at the Luxor, Dan Sperry of AGT and Peepshow and Holly’s World stars Holly Madison, Josh Strickland, Angel Porrino and Laura Croft are expected to join them.
