A birthday celebration for Robin Leach, Michael Boychuck at Blush

It’s Birthday Wishes and Champagne Dreams tonight at Blush in the Wynn for Robin Douglas Leach, who'll forever be affiliated with “champagne wishes and caviar dreams” from his popular TV series Lifestyles of the Rich & Famous.

I’ve worked with Robin as his editor on Vegas DeLuxe for nearly two years, and he is hands down the hardest-working journalist that I have ever worked with in my 14-year career. He has worked as a journalist for half a century and is still going strong getting the scoop, breaking stories and attending as many as three to four events in one day.

Robin’s family and friends know that beyond the tireless exterior of the celebrity journalist, who himself is a celebrity, is one of the biggest hearts and most gracious gentleman to ever hail from England. This is a belated celebration, as Robin turned XX years young on Aug. 29 while on his annual vacation in La Jolla, Calif.

Happy Birthday, good sir, and here’s to many more. Happy Birthday wishes also go out to Robin’s good friend stylist to the stars Michael Boychuck, who owns Color and Amp salons at Caesars Palace and the Palms, respectively, and Drift Spa in Palms Place.

Cheers to both of you!

Robin Leach has been a journalist for more than 50 years and has spent the past decade giving readers the inside scoop on Las Vegas, the world’s premier platinum playground.
