Las Vegas hair guru Michael Boychuck will be in fine company tonight for his meet-and-greet with No Doubt superstar singer Gwen Stefani after he’s honored by L’Oreal in New York as Colorist of the Decade.

Michael, who last weekend celebrated his birthday alongside yours truly at Blush in the Wynn, will be joined by new American Idol judge Jennifer Lopez, rocker Debbie Harry, pop star Mel B (who was the first celebrity headliner here at Peepshow in Planet Hollywood), celebrity chef Mario Batali, Twilight actress Julia Jones, fashion designer Betsy Johnson and the ultimate fashion diva Vogue Editor Anna Wintour.

Coincidentally, after Michael meets up with Gwen, she flies here to Las Vegas to officially unveil her own wax figure in Madame Tussauds at The Venetian next Wednesday at noon.

Cooking With Rick Moonen and Carrot Top

*Guests gathered last night for a very special cooking demonstration at Three Square food bank with celebrity chef Rick Moonen of RM Seafood in Mandalay Bay and Luxor headliner comedian Carrot Top to raise money and awareness for Grant a Gift Autism Foundation, and contributing photographer Scott Harrison was on duty for our Vegas DeLuxe photo gallery.

*Cast members from Jubilee! at Bally’s will be on Dr. Phil tomorrow to help him celebrate his 60th birthday. The showgirls are treating Dr. Phil with a dance in the show’s introduction and then return toward the end of the program with a cake.

*Two changes to report at Riviera headliner Greg London’s comedy impressions show: Greg London’s Icons is now Greg London: Impressions That Rock, and a 7 p.m. performance Mondays is being added to the weekly lineup beginning Sept. 27 (the show is dark Tuesdays). “As we got more and more feedback from audience members, we consistently heard how much they think our show really ‘rocks,’ and out of that we got the name Greg London: Impressions That Rock,” Greg said in a statement.

*The Venetian and Palazzo have launched The Venetian | The Palazzo Social Rewards, a social media loyalty program that awards followers on Twitter. The program monitors and tracks tweets and provides followers with points to be redeemed toward goods and services at the resorts. In addition to accumulating points toward free suite stays at The Venetian and Palazzo, guests can earn free dessert at Wolfgang Puck restaurants CUT and Postrio Bar and Grill, guest list and free admission to Tao and Lavo and free drinks from Lagasse’s Stadium.
