Photos: Fantasy cast adds sizzle to Mexican Independence party

The gorgeous topless dancers from the adult cabaret revue Fantasy at the Luxor led by their new headline singer Lorena Peril became the star attractions at the Mexican Independence Day fiesta held at Tacos & Tequila (T&T) on Thursday.

Lorena took to the stage to sing two well-known Mexican songs in Spanish with backup from a mariachi band. Then it was an Elvis Presley look-alike and sound-alike contest with the audience’s cheers used for voting. A female non-singing but hip-shaking Elvis was declared the winner.

As the tequila flowed and the jam-packed party crowd that included the Aussie hunks of Thunder From Down Under and cast members from Menopause the Musical tucked into tacos, the T&T dancers accompanied by Mini Elvis and a Human Rooster presented “Viva T&T,” their own stage version of the hit Viva Las Vegas.

It was insane but all for fun -- nothing serious -- and a great celebration party as this gallery of photographs from contributing photographer Tom Donoghue shows.

Luis Miguel at Caesars Palace

Also Thursday over at The Colosseum in Caesars Palace, superstar and heartthrob Luis Miguel played to a jam-packed sold-out audience, and contributing photographer Erik Kabik was front and center for a Vegas DeLuxe photo gallery. Luis caps off his three-night stand at The Colosseum this evening.
