The Station Casinos entertainment team of Judy Alberti, Monica Reeves and Mandy Christine were in Nashville last night to accept their Academy of Country Music Award for Green Valley Ranch in Henderson being named Casino of the Year.
Country singer Lee Ann Womack (“I Hope You Dance”) hosted the Fourth Annual ACM Honors featuring GVR in the spotlight. This is the fourth Casino of the Year Award for a Station Casinos property and the first for GVR. Academy of Country Music members vote on the award recipients.
Holly Madison in UFC magazine.
*Peepshow and Holly’s World star Holly Madison is at her hottest, as the blonde beauty has blossomed into a new UFC sex symbol. Has she been this risque before without going fully nude? Judge for yourself, as MMA fan Couch Potato has posted the photographs of Holly and her assets featured in UFC magazine.
CBS' CSI recently filmed at the Golden Nugget.
*Cast and crewmembers of CBS’ hit CSI recently spent three days filming at the Golden Nugget downtown for an upcoming episode. The episode of the crime drama, set in Las Vegas, airs Sept. 30. Meantime, CSI: The Experience celebrates its first anniversary tomorrow at MGM Grand, and teen pop sensation Justin Bieber makes his acting debut Thursday on CSI.
*The cliffhanger on E!’s Keeping Up With the Kardashians, airing all week, of Kourtney Kardashian and Scott Disick discussing whether to move to New York features the Artisan here in Las Vegas. The couple celebrated Scott’s birthday at Mood, the new restaurant at Artisan, in June with friends, including Stephen Siegel of The Siegel Group.
*Elaine Wynn hosted Splendor at the Spa in the Encore last week, and guests included Ling Chan and Ella Stimpson during the event featuring skin, beauty and health tips and tours of the men’s and women’s spas. Thanks to Christopher Rauschnot @24kMedia on Twitter for his videos posted on YouTube.

*Melissa Peterman, host of CMT’s The Singing Bee and star of Reba, is at Louie Anderson Theater at Palace Station this Thursday and Friday. Melissa is the first guest headliner at the new theater, and she recently signed on to star in her own CMT sitcom, Working Class, set to debut early next year.
*With Halloween festivities rapidly approaching, I’m keeping tabs on all the nightclub plans, and so far it looks as if the 13th annual iconic bash Studio 54’s Nightmare on 54th Street is the most outrageous running over six nights. It all starts Oct. 25 with sexy spider girls spinning, swooping and swinging on aerial webs and ghost bungees and with performers re-creating scenes from Michael Jackson’s Thriller. On Oct. 29, my Fame Games contestant rapper Vanilla Ice celebrates his birthday and hosts a contest for the freakiest costume. On Oct. 30, Holly Madison hosts the 2nd Annual Hollyween with a costume contest for the sexiest and most original costumes. The most extravagant Halloween gala on The Strip, the 44th Annual Beaux Arts Ball benefiting Golden Rainbow’s fight against HIV/AIDS, wraps up the festivities on Halloween.
Joey Fatone with the cast of Peepshow at Planet Hollywood on Sept. 20, 2010.
STAR SURVEILLANCE
Singer Joey Fatone, in town to host the live The Price Is Right at Bally’s, attended Peepshow at Planet Hollywood last night and posed for a photograph with the cast after the show. Joey also has watched Human Nature at Imperial Palace and Blue Man Group at The Venetian while in town. Newly single Motley Crue frontman Vince Neil was at the Palms for two consecutive nights with two blonde dates. The first night was dinner at N9NE Steakhouse and then The Playboy Club, and the next evening was Nove Italiano, followed again by The Playboy Club.
Xzibit celebrates his birthday at Moon in the Palms on Sept. 18, 2010.
Xzibit celebrates his birthday with a performance at Moon in the Palms on Sept. 18, 2010.
Rapper Xzibit (real name Alvin Joiner) celebrated his birthday with 13 friends at N9NE Steakhouse, then headed to Moon to continue the celebration. Xzibit performed and was presented with a birthday cake. UFC President Dana White dined at N9NE before The Cult concert at The Pearl in the Palms. The British rockers partied at Ghostbar with 10 friends before heading to The Playboy Club at 2 a.m. Our philanthropic pal Larry Ruvo had a real surprise when he watched Cheap Trick’s Sgt. Pepper Live at the Paris. Just before the group sang The Beatles’ classic “When I’m 64,” they stopped the show and sang a “Happy Birthday” rendition of it to Larry. R&B singer Brian McKnight dined at Strip House in Planet Hollywood.
Kevin Burke.
TONIGHT’S TIPS
Comedian Kevin Burke celebrates his 1,500th show with a milestone performance at Excalibur. As VDLX reported last Tuesday, Nevada residents may purchase $15 tickets to his show for the next 15 days (through Oct. 5). Chefs Jet Tila of Wazuzu in Encore and Kuldeep Singh of Origin India lead a cooking demonstration at Whole Foods in Town Square. John Joseph and Johnny B headline at The Improv at Harrah’s through Sunday. And nightlife mogul Brandon Roque celebrates his birthday at Blush in the Wynn.
