Television, film and theater star Taye Diggs checked in at the VIP lounge at the Palazzo this afternoon for a guys weekend in Las Vegas. Diggs was wearing white sneakers, brown cargo pants, a green T-shirt, a snazzy fedora and his sexy smile when he was spotted with a friend.

Diggs, whose credits include Private Practice, Kevin Hill, Rent, Chicago and How Stella Got Her Groove Back, is married to Idina Menzel, and the couple welcomed their first child, Walker Nathaniel Diggs, in September. Menzel is currently guest starring on Fox’s Glee.

Diggs and Menzel, who have been married since 2003, have appeared together onstage in Rent, The Wild Party and Wicked, for which Menzel won a Tony Award. Diggs originated the role of landlord Benny in Rent and re-created the role in the 2005 film adaptation.
