Dish Las Vegas, Three Square Food Bank’s annual benefit fundraiser, takes place tonight at Palms Pool & Bungalows and offers attendees tasting stations from more than 20 restaurants, signature cocktails, a live and silent auction, an opportunity to meet some of the city’s best chefs and a performance by Smash Mouth.
After eating, drinking and mixing poolside at Dish, guests will be escorted to neighboring Rain for a headline performance by Smash Mouth, whose hits include “Walkin’ on the Sun,” “Can’t Get Enough of You Baby” and “All Star.”
“This event is the perfect mix of dining and entertainment,” Three Square President and CEO Julie Murray said in a statement. “Not only will guests have a great time, but their participation will help people in need, as well.”
Chefs Barry Dakake and Geno Bernado flank Pauly D at Nove Italiano in the Palms.
Featured chefs and restaurants include Geno Bernardo of Nove Italiano, Barry S. Dakake of N9NE Steakhouse, Rick Moonen of RM Seafood, American Fish, RM Seafood, Aureole, Shibuya, Il Vino, The Capital Grille, Jadon Foods, Top of the World, N9NE Steakhouse, Nove Italiano and more.
Three Square is a community collaborative partnership with the gaming industry, businesses, nonprofits, food distributors, UNLV, CCSD, governmental entities, media and hundreds of volunteers to serve hope to people struggling with hunger. Three Square, a member of the Feeding America network of food banks, currently provides 17 million pounds of food and grocery products, the equivalent of 12 million meals.
Dish, presented by Smiths Food & Drug Stores, is 6:30 to 10 p.m. VIP tickets are sold out, but general admission tickets for $100 are still available. Tickets are all-inclusive (food, drink and entertainment), with proceeds benefiting Three Square to provide nutritious food to Southern Nevada children, seniors and families battling hunger.
