Steve Wynn, Andrea Hissom’s royal wedding guest list is star-studded

Now that Prince William and Kate Middleton’s Royal Wedding in London is over and done, it’s time for Las Vegas’ royal wedding between hotel mogul Steve Wynn and English beauty Andrea Hissom. The nuptials have turned into an all-star, million-dollar, three-day affair, with Clint Eastwood on hand as best man to make their day, an entertainment lineup including Garth Brooks and Lionel Ritchie and celebrity guests to congratulate the happy couple.

The tie-the-knot festivities get underway for nearly 500 couples with a white-fashion pool party at his Encore tonight. Donald Trump has promised to attend before jetting off early morning for The White House Correspondents Dinner in Washington, D.C.

Then tomorrow, shortly before noon, it’s a family-only traditional wedding chapel ceremony, followed by the evening black-tie bash that Michael Jackson’s This Is It director and choreographer Kenny Ortega has masterminded. The wedding weekend wraps Sunday with a farewell brunch.

Other VIPs expected: actor Sylvester Stallone, Wall Street wizard Michael Milken, fellow hotel mogul Sol Kerzner, director Brett Ratner and whispers even of Caesars Palace headliner Celine Dion, supermodel Naomi Campbell and actor Hugh Jackman.

“The emphasis is all about fun” said 69-year-old Steve this week, as reported by Senior Editor John Katsilometes in his The Kats Report coverage of Steve’s media sit-down Wednesday. Steve said he hoped his celebrations would be kept as private as possible in exchange for the press conference, particularly after the Cupid Wedding Chapel leaked video footage of his faux Elvis Presley and Lady Gaga nuptials there that he will show guests tomorrow.

Incidentally, although Steve is spending more than $1 million for the party, he may recoup 10 times that from high-roller guests playing at his adjoining Encore and Wynn. Guests will enjoy memorable meals from his casino resorts’ chefs, but Steve and Andrea will stick with their vegan diet.

VegasDeLuxe.com was the first to bring you photos of the heart-shaped diamond engagement ring after his proposal to Andrea at Sinatra at Encore. The couple has been dating since 2008 when they first met onboard a yacht on the French Riviera. They broke up briefly, but VegasDeLuxe.com reported their reconciliation.

VegasDeLuxe.com also exclusively reported that ex-wife Elaine Wynn, who has been reported as receiving $740 million in one of the largest divorce settlements in history, will be attending the pre-planned Warren Buffett financial conference and annual meeting of Berkshire Hathaway in Omaha, Neb., this weekend.

Congratulations to the happy couple, and champagne wishes for a long and happy life together. There are no honeymoon plans , according to Steve, who next weekend with Andrea plays host to Vegas Uncork’d events at his properties.
