It was shock and awe when Hollywood sources reported Monday that reality TV star Kim Kardashian will earn $600,000 for hosting her New Year’s Eve party at Tao in the Venetian. Newly single Kim has already told Vegas DeLuxe that she will be solo at the celebration but will be accompanied by mom Kris Jenner and stepfather Bruce Jenner.
It’s the second consecutive year that Kim is hosting NYE at Tao. Last year, she reportedly was paid $500,000, but that fee was for several appearances during the year. This year’s $100,000 increase also includes appearances throughout 2012.
The Hollywood Reporter revealed the high-priced $tat$ and that Kim’s plugging the party heavily: “New Year’s Eve is one of my favorite nights of the year. Time to celebrate everything you’ve achieved in the past year and look forward to everything to come in the New Year.
“This New Year’s Eve, I’ll be celebrating at Tao in Las Vegas. I can’t wait!!!”
Meantime, Kim’s brother Rob Kardashian will be at Tryst in the Wynn on NYE, and sister Kourtney Kardashian and baby daddy Scott Disick will be at Chateau Nightclub & Gardens at the Paris.
