Get him to Mandalay Bay! OK, so it doesn’t have the same ring as Get Him to the Greek, but Russell Brand -- comedian, actor, singer, author, award show host and significant other of one Katy Perry -- is bringing his stand-up to Mandalay Bay Theater tonight at 10.

Brand is but one of myriad attractions in The Entertainment Capital of the World this weekend, from Tony Bennett, INXS, The Avett Brothers, Soundgarden and Engelbert Humperdinck in concert to boxing (Amir Khan vs. Zab Judah) to the birthday celebration of Baywatch, Knight Rider and America’s Got Talent star David Hasselhoff.

It’s never a boring weekend in Las Vegas.

*Entertainment legend Engelbert Humperdinck is at the Paris through Sunday. The superstar singer became part of the Las Vegas Walk of Stars this week -- wife Patricia and children Scott, Jason and Louise were on hand for the award ceremony at the Paris -- and penned a guest column posted Wednesday reflecting on “his unbelievable journey” and future.

*Ten-year-old Ethan Bortnick makes Las Vegas history as one of the youngest entertainers -- if not the youngest -- to headline his own show at the Las Vegas Hilton through tomorrow. Ethan has created and hosted an award-winning, national TV concert special on PBS and has made history as the youngest musician, composer and entertainer to headline a national concert tour. Ethan was named one of Oprah Winfrey’s “All-Time Smartest, Most Talented Kids” and has raised some $30 million for nonprofits. A photo gallery of Ethan was posted yesterday.
