It was a wild birthday celebration for Vince Neil’s 51st when the Motley Crue frontman hopped aboard drummer Tommy Lee’s 360-degree circular drum coaster Wednesday night just before the curtain came down on their residency show at the Joint in the Hard Rock Hotel.
His bandmates -- guitarist Mick Mars, bassist Nikki Sixx and Tommy -- surprised him not only with a 3-foot-tall, guitar-shaped birthday cake, but they also led the crowd in “Happy Birthday.” The sweet concoction by Caked Las Vegas featured some of the group’s album covers and a replica of Vince’s 1932 Ford Coupe hot rod that’s on display in the front Hard Rock lobby. Thanks to Erik Kabik for his photos capturing the highlights.
Illusionist and Luxor headliner Criss Angel dined at BLT Burger in the Mirage, enjoying a classic burger and extra crispy fries with his fiance Sandra Gonzalez and three hotel executives. This is how rumors of jumping or planning another show get started!!!
"Peepshow" star Cheaza at her 2012 calendar signing at Pampas in Planet Hollywood on Wednesday, Feb. 8, 2012.
Gorgeous “Peepshow” at Planet Hollywood star Cheaza officially launched her 2012 calendar at Pampas Brazilian Grill at Planet Hollywood’s Miracle Mile on Wednesday night. She told me that she’ll host another party when it goes on sale next week at the “Peepshow” boutique. Cheaza is a knockout in the calendar showing her sexy, flirty, high fashion glamour looks -- and her maternal side with her daughter in a shot for the merry month of May.
NFL Hall of Fame defensive tackle John Randle was at Casa Fuente in the Forum Shops at Caesars Palace on Wednesday enjoying an Arturo Fuente cigar accompanied with a Casa Fuente mojito. TV producer legend Dick Clark dined in a party of four at chef Wolfgang Puck’s nearby Spago on Thursday and ordered the ravioli.
The pep rally for our USA Eagles -- who are competing in the USA Sevens Rugby International Tournament at Sam Boyd Stadium this weekend -- included a performance by drum line students from Andre Agassi Preparatory Academy outside Planet Hollywood’s Miracle Mile on Wednesday. Showgirls from “Vegas! The Show” took part, along with a performance by the USA Sevens cheerleaders. Thanks again to Erik for his photo gallery.

Angel Porrino in KISS boots.
Reality TV starlet and “Absinthe” weather balloon dancer Angel Porrino is the latest Las Vegas showbiz personality to suit up with the official Kiss boots touring in celebration of the upcoming opening of Kiss Monster Mini Golf. Angel’s photo shoot was at Vanity in the Hard Rock Hotel. Kiss Monster Mini Golf opens March 15 across from the Hard Rock near Paradise and Harmon. Thanks yet again to Erik for his photos.
And the employees of South Point are on their way to becoming the newest reality TV stars thanks to Wednesday night’s big viewing numbers for the Travel Channel original six-part series “Vegas Stripped.” The staff celebrated Hollywood-style with a red-carpet premiere at the casino.
As Vegas DeLuxe reported two weeks ago, “Vegas Stripped” premiered with two half-hour, back-to-back episodes in an all-access look at the inner workings of South Point. The premiere episodes titillated with the 9,000 provocatively and barely dressed attendees of the annual Fetish & Fantasy Ball (its first time at South Point), a gourmet food truck festival and a celebrity poker kids charity tournament. Thanks to photographer Tom Donoghue, who was on hand as the staff became stars.
