“Jersey Shore” star Pauly “DJ Pauly D” DelVecchio hosted his residency kickoff party at Vanity in the Hard Rock Hotel on Saturday night, and contributing photographer Cassi Thomas of Retna was onsite for her photo gallery of the “Swag”-T-shirt-wearing Rhode Island boy.

After his first Las Vegas DJ residency at the Palms, Pauly has signed on for Season 9 of Rehab at the Hard Rock Hotel. On March 29, Pauly’s “Jersey Shore” spinoff, “The Pauly D Project,” premieres on MTV documenting his life away from Seaside Heights, N.J., that includes time spent in Las Vegas.
