Singer John Mayer and '90s rockers Garbage have announced upcoming shows in Las Vegas, adding two more big names to an already impressive list of concerts scheduled on and near the Strip this spring.
Mayer, joined by special guest Kacey Musgraves, will play the Joint at the Hard Rock Hotel on Saturday, May 5, at 8 p.m. The tour comes in anticipation of his upcoming fifth album "Born and Raised." Tickets to see the Grammy Award-winning crooner go on sale this Saturday at noon via Ticketmaster and the Hard Rock Hotel box office; prices start at $80.50.
Alt-rockers Garbage will be stopping at the Palms to play the Pearl on Saturday, April 14, at 8 p.m. Fans can expect to hear new songs off the band's first album in seven years, "Not Your Kind of People," which will be released May 15. Tickets ($34) for the show go on sale Friday at noon via the Pearl box office and Ticketmaster.
Other recently announced gigs include an upcoming performance from L.A.-by-way-of-Oakland rapper Kreayshawn. The emcee behind last summer's viral hit "Gucci Gucci" will be at Tao at the Venetian on Friday, March 9, along with DJ Ross One.
Jangly Kentucky-based rockers Cage the Elephant will play hits like "Ain't No Rest for the Wicked" at the Boulevard Pool at the Cosmopolitan on Thursday, April 26, at 9 p.m. Tickets ($27.50) go on sale this Friday at 10 a.m. via Ticketmaster and the Cosmopolitan's website.
