Where would the AVN Awards be held if it were not in Las Vegas?

Dave Attell considered the possibilities.

“There are no other cities. None,” Attell said during the red carpet walk leading into Saturday night’s presentation at the befittingly named Joint at the Hard Rock Hotel. “We tried Salt Lake City. We tried Islamabad, Pakistan. No takers. It’s Vegas!

Attell was fired up about the renewal, for a second season, of his Showtime series “Dave’s Old Porn,” which has been described as a mix of “Mystery Science Theater” and porn scenes from the 1970s and ’80s. He took a break from working on the show to return as host of the AVNs, sharing the stage with adult industry stars Bree Olson and Sunny Leone.

Before the dozens of awards were doled out in a showcase capping the annual AVN/Adult Entertainment Expo, hundreds (and we are not kidding, one estimate was 500) stars and industry types walked the red carpet adjacent to the Joint.

What to ask these people? The single question: If you could co-star in a porno scene with a mainstream movie star, who would it be and why? The answers made clear that Angelina Jolie could enjoy a fruitful career in adult films if she ever chose that path. An alt-rocker and even a soccer star also were name-checked.

Following is the best of the bunch from adult-film stars parading at the Hard Rock listed in order of appearance:

Katie Cross: “There are a lot of gorgeous people in mainstream, obviously, or they wouldn’t be these glamorous celebrities. But I don’t know if I’d just want to jump on someone until I am 5 feet from them and experience their pheromones. Everyone is good-looking in Hollywood. There is no correlation between the best looking and the mediocre, and whether I’d want to sleep with them. It’s all how I react to them when I smell them.”

Jesse Jane: “Angelina Jolie, all the way. Or a Ryan sandwich. Ryan Gosling on one side and Ryan Reynolds on the other (laughs) ... I have given this many, many thoughts.”

Brooklyn Lee: “Mariska Hargitay, the female cop on ‘Law & Order: SVU.’ I’ve had a crush on her since way back in the day when she had that butch haircut. I fantasize about her to this day.”

Jacky Joy: “Brad Pitt. That’s an obvious one. Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie, together.”

Kirsten Price: “I would say Sienna Miller because I think she is gorgeous. I think she’s beautiful, she’s a talented actress, and I would love to work with her.”

Tanya Tate: “Brad Pitt. He’s got muscles, he’s a hunk. He seems like he’s got a lot of stamina.”

Sophie Dee: “Megan Fox because she is beautiful. Or Keira Knightley.”

Leah Falcon: “Ludacris because he is so sexy. I’ve been after him for 10 years. Seriously. I’ve been obsessed with him for forever. Him, or Snoop Dogg. I’ll take ’em both.”

Dana DeArmond: “Oh, I don’t know … I absolutely adore Joseph Gordon-Levitt. I always have. I don’t know if he would accept having sex with me (laughs), but he’s just a really talented and versatile actor. Let’s see how good an actor he is.”

Taylor Vixen: “Michael C. Hall. I am obsessed with ‘Dexter.’ ”

Slutbottom Chris: “Oh, that’s a tough one. Probably Demi Moore because she could kick my (butt). I’ve chosen to take a role of male submissive to the female dominant in the industry, so, she’d be great, in a ‘G.I. Jane’-type role. It’d be good times.”

Bree Olson: “Well, I don’t do scenes anymore. I’m currently without a sex life right now (laughs). If I could pick an actual acting scene, it would be someone off ‘True Blood.’ That would be really cool. If it’s a sex scene, something in the office setting on ‘Mad Men.’ I smoke, so I’d fit right in (laughs).”

Kiera King and Seth Gamble: Her: “Angelina Jolie. She has very sexy lips, and she’s an amazing actress.” Him: “Same, yeah. Angelina.”

Jack Lawrence: “I would say none of them because I don’t think they can handle a lot of sex like the porn stars do. It’s a lot of sex for a lot of hours, and civilians just can’t handle it. It’s not for commoners. Let’s leave it to the professionals.”

Riley Steele: “The Rock. Hello? What a body.”

Serena Rose: “Angelina Jolie. She is so hot.”

Bibi Jones: “David Duchovny. I like his show ‘Californication,’ and he is a sex addict who went to rehab for it. I don’t know why you’d go to rehab for that, but I think he’s super-sexy. I like older guys.”

Sunny Leone: “Angelina Jolie, the reason why is self-explanatory.

Allie Haze: “Considering I play Princess Leia in ‘Star Wars XXX,’ I would have to say Harrison Ford.”

Candy Manson: “Hmmm … I have no idea. Mainstream is boring. Marilyn Manson, Candy Manson. I’ll say Marilyn Manson.”

Teagan Presley: “Christina Hendrix, the redhead from ‘Mad Men.’ She completely embodies the character, she’s got beautiful curves. She is absolutely stunning. She’s just naturally beautiful, and that’s a good thing to put out there.”

Alexis Ford: “Angelina Jolie, because she’s super-sexy and has raw sexuality. I would love to do a scene with her and a hot guy.”

Lisa Ann: “George Clooney because he is amazing. He could teach me something.”

Alec Knight: “Jessica Alba. Why? She’s hot, of course. I’m sure she’s on a lot of guys' lists.”

Jessica Drake: “I’d have to give a rather cliche answer and say Angelina Jolie and Brad Pitt. I would really like to be a part of that sandwich. But I like the older men of Hollywood, too, Al Pacino and Jack Nicholson. That’s my weak spot, an older guy with a lot of experience, a sexually experienced and worldly guy.”

Gracie Glam: “Mila Kunis just because she is very classy and very funny. She’s a natural beauty, and I love her acting. If I were to choose a celebrity man who is not an actor, I would choose David Beckham.”
