Actor Peter Facinelli, Dr. Fitch Cooper in “Nurse Jackie” and Dr. Carlisle Cullen in the blockbuster “Twilight” series, enjoyed a boys weekend in Las Vegas that included hosting at Chateau Nightclub & Gardens in the Paris on Saturday night. Looking dapper in a gray suit, Facinelli walked the red carpet and posed for photographs with fans before making his way upstairs to the nightspot.

Facinelli, in town with childhood friends, spoke on the red carpet about the film-franchise finale “The Twilight Saga: Breaking Dawn, Part 2,” which hits theaters in November, and “Loosies,” an independent film based on pick pocketing in which he stars and also directed and produced.

At Chateau, Facinelli held court in a VIP booth overlooking the dance floor and checked out the DJ booth. Later in the night, he headed upstairs to the Gardens, the club’s new third floor, and caught part of DJ Christopher Lawrence’s set.

Before Chateau, the husband of actress Jennie Garth (they have three daughters together) who film fans also know as Jennifer Love Hewitt’s boyfriend Mike Dexter in “Can’t Hardly Wait,” started Saturday night with dinner, drinks and dessert at Sugar Factory American Brasserie in the Paris.

Facinelli enjoyed a Mediterranean salad with free-range grilled chicken, red onions, kalamata olives, tomatoes and mixed greens. He told his waiter that the meal was “absolutely delicious” and that “he couldn't be happier with dinner.” After his healthy meal, Facinelli gave into his sweet tooth, indulging in a red velvet ice cream sundae and sipping on a dry ice Berry Bliss goblet cocktail.

Facinelli stopped in the retail store, scooping up gifts for his wife and daughters and thanked Sugar Factory staff repeatedly for being gracious hosts. While in town, the actor also attended Cirque du Soleil’s “O” at the Bellagio, playing posing for photographs in the lobby and snacking on popcorn and sipping on Jack and Coke during the show.
