Two big events share the spotlight in The Entertainment Capital of the World this weekend: the 2012 Electric Daisy Carnival at Las Vegas Motor Speedway -- three days and nights of electronic dance music heaven for fans -- and the WBO welterweight title fight between Manny Pacquiao and the undefeated Timothy Bradley Jr. at MGM Grand Garden Arena on Saturday night.

Pacquiao smiled, Bradley snarled, and the bruisers dropped trou as they made weight for The Big Fight; contributing photographer Tom Donoghue and Las Vegas Sun photographer Steve Marcus were onsite at MGM Grand for their photo galleries. Thanks also to Richard Corey for his video of the weigh-in posted on YouTube. Corey also recorded their news conference at MGM Grand during the week.

With guest star Joey Lawrence and the Thor-like hunks of Chippendales dropping trou at The Rio on a Friday night more my speed, er, area of work and expertise, I’ll leave the boxing coverage to Sports Editor Extraordinaire Ray Brewer and his Sports team.
