Former Mayor Oscar Goodman, now with the Las Vegas Convention and Visitors Authority, kicked off the 2012 pool season this afternoon at Wet Republic at MGM Grand.

Goodman, the “Happiest Mayor on Earth” while in office, cut the ribbon and officially began the new daylife season. Daytime revelers joined Goodman as he opened the doors to the pool party destination. Mark Prows, VP of entertainment at MGM Grand, joined Goodman at the ceremony.

Goodman, of course, had a martini in hand during the ribbon cutting. Thanks to Erik Kabik for his photo gallery.
