After the bruising, battering and bloodying Las Vegas resident Floyd Mayweather Jr. and Puerto Rico’s Miguel Cotto inflicted on each other during their bout at MGM Grand Garden Arena on Saturday night, actor and rapper Common headed to the Bank in the Bellagio to host his post-fight party.
Arriving at nearly 1 a.m. Sunday, Common and his group of 10 friends enjoyed cocktails at a VIP table overlooking the dance floor before he got on the mic for a performance at 2 a.m. The group partied until the early hours of the morning, and Common departed 30 minutes before the lights came on for his hotel suite.
Down the Strip at Haze in Aria, Grammy Award-winning hip-hop star and actor Nelly performed a set of new and older hits at the CityCenter hotspot. Nelly, along with Justin Bieber and Triple H, accompanied Mayweather Jr. into the ring before Saturday’s boxing match.
And actress, DJ and former adult-entertainment superstar Sasha Grey kicked off adult-only Bare Pool Lounge’s summer-long, weekly Sexy Beats party featuring a rotation of female DJs. Grey took to the turntables for the Cinco De Mayo celebration.
