On March 19, the Weekly broke the news that DJ AM (AKA Adam Goldstein) was in contract negotiations to take up a residency at Rain Nightclub at the Palms. The DJ’s move was confirmed today along with the announcement that the new Friday residency would begin on April 24, 2009.

“I’m very excited to call Rain Nightclub my new home,” says DJ AM.  “I’ve always aimed to take leaps and bounds in the music industry, and I expect no less than to take my music to a whole new level at Rain Nightclub.  The N9NE Group’s commitment to diversifying the music played at its venues gives me the assurance that I’ve made the right decision, and I look forward to further making my mark in Las Vegas and transforming Sin City into a global music destination.”

Palms Casino Resort president and owner George Maloof approves of this aquisition of talent: “We have been friends for a long time and it is great to have him performing at Rain Nightclub. He is a welcome addition to the property...”
