Calling all party people: LMFAO opens Las Vegas video shoot to public

Forget Miami, we’re in Las Vegas, bitch. DJ/rapper duo LMFAO will take over Tao Beach Thursday to film the music video for their new single, “Shots.” If you want LMFAO’s Redfoo and Sky Blu to be singing, “you're looking kind of cute in that polka dot bikini, girl” about you, then don your best two-piece and heels and hit the decks, the pool decks, that is. You’re invited to the shoot.
Calendar
- LMFAO Video Shoot
- July 16, 10 a.m. - sunset
- Tao Beach
- Open vodka bar for local ladies: noon-3 p.m.
- LMFAO Album Release Party
- July 16, 10 p.m.
- Tao
With the huge success of their club anthem “I’m in Miami Bitch,” remix “I’m in Las Vegas Bitch” and club crowd pleaser “I Am Not a Whore,” the Hollywood duo has a case of the Midas touch. If any town embodies the lyrics of “Shots,” it’s Vegas, baby, so the Strip regulars are back in town and bringing cameras with them. LMFAO’s mission with their next single is simple: “If you not drunk ladies and gentlemen/Get ready to get fu**ed up.”
And the pair definitely knows how to go about doing that. LMFAO are equal opportunity drinkers on this new track: Patron, Ciroc, Jagerbombs, lemon drops and kamikazes, all get shout outs. If your favorite shot isn’t on their list, try a few of their selections and you probably won’t care anymore. Shooting for the video kicks off at 10 a.m. and goes until sunset with an open vodka bar for local ladies from noon – 3 p.m.
Since the best way to cap a day of throwing back shots and grinding on strangers is with a night full of the same things, LMFAO will continue the party after the sun sets with their official album release party for Party Rock at Tao’s Worship Thursdays.
