Three’s not a crowd for Lindsay Lohan at Prive

By Melissa Arseniuk

When Samantha Ronson drove from LA to Las Vegas yesterday she brought more than her DJ equipment with her.

Her girlfriend, sexy and oft-scandalous star Lindsay Lohan, also joined her.

Later that night, when Ronson took to the turntables at Privé at Planet Hollywood, the 31-year-old turntable master mixed a little business with pleasure, as Lohan joined her in the DJ booth.

Ronson truly offers bang for a club’s booking buck: Whenever she plays a show – especially in Vegas – there’s a decent chance that her famous +1 will also put in an appearance.

Despite tough economic times, a respectable crowd gathered at Privé to take in Ronson’s set (and maybe catch a glimpse of Lohan, too).

And Lohan wasn’t the only pretty who face who joined Ronson last night.

Another attractive femme with long reddish-brown hair appeared alongside Ronson just after 12:30 a.m. The two chatted for a few minutes before the unknown yet pretty woman left Ronson to her work.

Lohan finally appeared about an hour later, at 1:40 a.m. The star sighting pleased throngs of club-going fans, as dozens of onlookers eagerly tried to snap photos of the 22-year-old actress.

Dressed in a black hooded sweatshirt, Lohan first tried to hide from the flashbulbs, with her hood up and back to the crowd.

It wasn’t long, however, before Lohan’s inner exhibitionist came through and she replaced the bulky sweater with a prettier and more form-fitting sweater adorned with pale sequins and faced the crowd.

It also wasn’t long before the mysterious, previously spotted friend returned. As Ronson worked the turntables, the other woman chatted and danced nearby with Lohan.

Regardless of the trifecta’s relationship, it would seem that three was not a crowd in this case.

Still, while Privé is the French word for “private,” when your name is Lindsay Lohan (or if you’re a friend of hers) there’s no such thing as privacy – at a Vegas nightclub especially.

She and the other galpal disappeared together on several occasions during Ronson’s set, ducking down out of view and away from prying eyes.

The actress seemed to be in good spirits and soon threw her long strawberry blonde hair into a ponytail, then proceeded to smoke a cigarette alongside her DJ girlfriend.

About twenty minutes later, after a two-and-a-half hour performance, Ronson’s set came to a close. She closed her Macintosh laptop, which was adorned with a large sticker of Shepard Fairey’s iconic Barack Obama portrait, and handed over the music mixing and mastering reins to DJ Konnex.
