Upping the Ante: Pools sweeten the pot for local ladies this summer

Ladies, are you looking for a good reason to finally replace that California, Ohio or New York driver’s license with some sleek new Nevada identification? Just look at all that you would be entitled to this summer courtesy of Vegas’ hottest and wettest pools and pool parties! You might just find the hour—or hours—spent in line at the DMV to be time well spent.

(Guys, don’t despair—now you know where the local ladies will be sunning themselves this summer! It’s a win-win!)

Bare Pool Lounge at The Mirage: Local women enjoy complimentary entry every day and special rates on day beds for groups of local ladies during the week. All locals can participate in Sunday’s complimentary barbecue at 2 p.m. each week. Plus, 1,000 select local ladies will receive a Bare season pass card, good for free drinks for the cardholder plus one guest.

Cherry Pool at Red Rock: All local ladies get free entry to the European pool, which also offers a program Red Rock calls Sips for Dips in which ladies in the pool enjoy free champagne. Day beds are available as is complimentary suntan lotion, pool rafts, volleyball net and ball, product giveaways and Cherry-flavored snow cones. Every Friday from 6-9 p.m., Cherry presents Turf Wars with online voting and honored winners. Select locals will receive a card allowing them to purchase $100 bottles, get 20 percent off all Red Rock restaurants and 50 percent off drinks at Lucky Bar.

Daydream Pool Club at M: Local ladies are always free and are entitled to 25 percent off their beverage tab, $50 off daybeds, $100 off cabanas and buy-one-get-one buckets of beer.

The Hard Rock Beach Club: Local ladies get in free with the exception of Rehab Sundays. During Rehab, local ladies are $20.

Palms Place Pool: This season, local ladies who book a cabana ($250 Monday-Thursday, $350 Friday-Sunday) get two bottles of Veuve Clicquot Champagne, a Simon signature “Junk Food Platter” (cotton candy, caramel corn, homemade Hostess-style Snowball and cupcake …) and complimentary access to all amenities at Drift Spa & Hammam (regularly $35 per person). Palms Pool & Bungalows: Locals are granted free admission with a valid ID Sunday through Thursday. Ladies, show your Pink Pass to receive a complimentary drink ticket any day of the week. Sign up for a Pink Pass at the pool kiosk during business hours.

Tao Beach at the Venetian: Ladies with a Tao Goddess Card are entitled to the following privileges: an all-access pass to Tao Beach for the entire season; an open vodka bar Monday–Friday, 1-3 p.m.; complimentary admission to Worship Thursdays at Tao plus giveaways and an open vodka bar from 10 p.m.-midnight; complimentary entry to Lavo Sundays with a one-hour open vodka bar; a weekly email blast with info that week’s giveaways as well as information on sales and specials at local salons, spas, boutiques exclusive to Goddess Card-holders. Ladies, to receive a Goddess Card, email info@taogroup.com with name, cell phone number and mailing address. A card will be mailed to each local request. Sans card, local ladies get into Tao Beach free every day.

Venus Pool Lounge at Caesars: Local ladies are free everyday Venus is open (Wednesday-Thursday) and receive complimentary same-day admission to Pure on nights the club is open. Local birthday girls receive a complimentary cocktail and a lounge chair/day bed on the big day (subject to availability). Groups of five to ten local ladies receive a complimentary glass of champagne and a day bed (subject to availability). Groups and birthdays must make reservations: 702-650-5944.
