Wii are the champions: Let the video games begin!

When cabanas started boasting fully-stocked fridges, flat-screen TVs, Evian mist-bearing hotties and handsy tanning butlers, I was speechless.
When they annexed the hotel’s Wi-Fi, my laptop jumped for joy.
And when they started doling out frozen grapes, fruit skewers and chilled towels, I may have kissed a VIP host.
So, imagine my zeal when Wet Republic announced this month that they are taking cabana technology one step further this summer season, going way beyond the industry standard of in-cabana video game systems, the Xbox 360, by installing Nintendo Wii gaming consoles in its six bungalows and 10 cabanas.
While I’ve only personally laid hands on a Wii handset once—kicking my date’s ass at Pong Toss in the process—the last video game before that being Oregon Trail, I would happily consider making another exception to my no video games rule if it meant being able to bowl without the goofy clown shoes. And poolside, no less.
