It’s in the bag: Agassi Grand Slam serves swag for celebs

Celebs regularly make out like bandits at public appearances, benefits and awards shows, stealing away with hulking bags of swag. This past weekend’s 14th annual Andre Agassi Foundation Grand Slam for Children was no exception. The hulking bag in question resembled a professional baseball player’s gear bag and could have entirely concealed the petite woman who wielded it for me as I made my way through the high-end and very eco-conscious vendors. Easy come, easy go! At long last, the heat is abating, taking with it the bottomless cocktails, topless ladies and weekday pool parties. But don’t worry; all shall return again come March. Nite Bite: All Hallows’ early

If you set your watch by your Albertsons’ candy aisle, then you are already keenly aware (thanks to the appearance of orange Peeps and the sweet smell of toxic, plastic children’s masks) that we are now just inside a month and a half away from Halloween. Fabulous Flashbacks

It was fantastic. It was fun. It was, in a word, Fabulous. Bringing one hell of a dance party to the Palms for four days, Vegas’ second Fabulous Fest was everything a club kid could ask for. A week later, the nightlife industry has finally recovered. Maybe. The electronic music festival spanning Labor Day Weekend at the Palms barely resembled its 2008 incarnation, but that’s not necessarily a bad thing. The first Fabulous catered to the 18 and up crowds ... Read more...

The nightclub host with the most

For those that party all the time, knowing a VIP host (or 20) is essential. As the saying goes, knowing is half the battle, or in the case of the Strip’s soirees and bashes, knowing is almost the whole battle. Locals scoff at long lines and ropes because, once you’re in the loop, a barrage of text messages and Facebook event invites will follow. Honestly, you might have to try harder to not be on “the list.” Time to salute ... Read more...

Jeffery Sanker is ... Read more...
