Gin [Blossoms] and Tonic anyone?

By Xania Woodman

The Gin Blossoms

It’s a serendipitous musical collaboration almost too good to be true.

Friday, June 26 will see the Gin Blossoms paired up with opening band Tonic poolside at the Hard Rock’s Friday Night Live concert series. The very ’90s evening will begin with a recently reformed Tonic, best known for their post-grunge work such as the angsty “If You Could Only See.”

Calendar

Gin Blossoms with Tonic
June 26, doors at 7 p.m., concert at 8 p.m.
$31.36
Hard Rock Pool

Continuing with the Gen X Reality Bites-era tunes, headliners the Gin Blossoms will wind through their string of lighthearted, poppy, alterna-rock hits including “Hey Jealousy," "Found Out About You," "Mrs. Rita," "Allison Road" and "’Til I Hear It From You” and “Follow You Down” from the soundtrack to How To Lose A Guy In 10 Days.

We’ll see you and your Rachel haircut there!
