More Mraz

Jason Mraz is a man in demand.

The reggae-flavored folk-rock sensation is already scheduled to open for Dave Matthews at not one, but two sold out shows at MGM Grand, but still, his fans want more.

Today, Mraz obliged. The sweet-singing, guitar-strumming, bare-footed vegetarian has agreed to add a third show to his Las Vegas itinerary, on May 9 at the Palms.

The 31-year-old rising star will take to the stage at the Pearl at midnight, just a few short hours after he is scheduled to leave the MGM stage.

While the new show addition comes as a delight to Mraz’ ever-growing legion of fans, it means the Grammy-nominee will have to hightail it from the MGM Grand over to the Palms in very little time.

The show will come four days shy of the one-year anniversary of the release of his latest record, We Sing. We Dance. We Steal Things.

The album includes the hit single, "I'm Yours," and his popular duet with Colbie Caillat, "Lucky."

Special guest James Morrison will open the midnight performance.

Tickets to the event are $45, $60 and $90, (plus service fees) and are available through the Pearl box office, Ticketmaster and Live Nation.

The Pearl also announced today that Grammy Award-winners Robin Thicke and Jennifer Hudson will co-headline a joint performance on May 1.

It will be the first Vegas appearance for American Idol alumnus Hudson since the controversial shooting deaths of her mother, brother and seven-year-old nephew in October.

Tickets for that performance are priced at $55, $75 and $85 (plus service fees) and are also available through the Pearl box office, Ticketmaster and Live Nation.
